How to use Bulk Image Compressor

  1. Drop in all the images you want to shrink — JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF or GIF.
  2. Pick the output format and quality. Optionally set a maximum width or height.
  3. Press Compress, then download each file or everything as one ZIP.

Good to know

  • Your images are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
  • Compressing re-encodes the image, which also removes its EXIF data (camera details and GPS).

Privacy

Runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter or open here is uploaded.

Questions

How much smaller will my photos get?

Phone photos usually shrink 50–80% at 75% quality with no visible difference. Converting to WebP or AVIF saves even more.

Can a file get bigger?

Not with “Keep the original if it's already smaller” turned on — if a file is already well compressed, you get the original back.

Is there a limit?

Up to 200 images per batch. Very large photos use more memory, so on phones it's best to do 20–30 at a time.
