How to use PDF to Excel

  1. Drop a PDF with tables, such as a bank statement or invoice.
  2. Check the preview — each page becomes a sheet (or put everything on one sheet).
  3. Download the .xlsx or a CSV.

Good to know

  • Always check the result against the original — merged cells and text that wraps onto two lines may land in separate rows.

Questions

How are the tables found?

From where each word sits on the page: words on the same line are grouped into cells, and cells that line up vertically become columns. Amounts like 1,234.50 or (120.00) become real numbers you can add up.

Does it work with scanned statements?

Not directly — a scan has no text. Make it searchable with PDF OCR, then convert.
