Questions
Will the layout stay the same?
Text, headings, lists, tables and images come across. Complex designs (magazine layouts, forms) may need some tidying, because PDF pages don't store paragraphs the way Word does.
Can I convert a scanned PDF?
A scan has no real text, so the Word file will only contain images. Make it searchable with PDF OCR first.
