Questions

Can I convert a photo to SVG?

You can, but photos have thousands of colours and become huge, blotchy SVGs. Vector tracing is meant for flat graphics with a few colours.

How do I get a cleaner result?

Use the largest, sharpest version of the image you have, reduce the number of colours, and raise “Ignore specks” to remove noise.

Is the SVG editable?

Yes. Each colour is its own path, so you can recolour or edit it in Figma, Illustrator or Inkscape.
